Obtaining Your Passwords
If you need to obtain a new SOLAR password:
- Go to the SOLAR login screen and click SOLAR Password Help.
- You will be asked to supply certain personal information which is stored within your records.
- A new password consisting of additional information in your records will be created.
- Instructions for creating this new password (not the new password itself) will be e-mailed to you at the e-mail address on file in SOLAR.
- If for any reason the above steps do not work for you, go to the SOLAR login page and click To Report Problems and fill out the form completely. You will be contacted by phone or e-mail.
If you need to obtain a new NetID Password:
- Log in to SOLAR with your SOLAR ID and SOLAR Password.
- Click Security and Personal Data and select NetID Maintenance.
- Answer or set your Security Question.
- Click Change NetID Password.
- Enter your new password in the New Password and the Confirm Password fields and click Submit Password Change. WAIT 15 MINUTES before trying it.
